At the end of February we went to Texas to meet some of the family on Ryan's mother's side that I have not met yet. Tessa has not met any of them! So we decided that we should go and so Tessa can also meet her Great Great Grandfather.

We went out to lunch with everyone. Theses are Ruth's (Ryan's mom) sisters and her (Missing one sister Amy). We did eat a lot of yummy food there. I really wanted to go near the coast, but we didn't have enough time.

Ryan and his cousin Sean. He is an awesome guy!

I think these girls would be Tessa's cousins? They are Tessa's great grandma's brother's son's kids. They are so sweet. They just wanted to sit by Tessa. They even fought over who gets to sit the closetest to her.

Her first time at the wheel. While we were there we rented a Ford Flex. It was a really nice car to ride in. Will I ever drive one? Prob not (Ryan pretty much drove the whole time), It was a very large car.

Meeting Papa for the first time (great great grandfather). I think he is in his 90s now. Can't remember now old he is. He is still quite alert, age has caught up to him and he is very tired and hard of hearing.

Ryan has a uncle mike that lives on .....a lot of land. He has long horns and they are just so fun. They have tons of little calves running around.

I could not help but admire their house.

Mike's wife made some volcano cake? it was delish...I know it looks like Tessa really wanted some, but I think what she really wanted was the silver fork I was using.

It was beautiful up there. I want to live there.

They had a garden that I just loved. I know it does not look like they have a lot growing, but we got to taste some of the turnip that they grew and it was awesome!

It was such a good visit and I hope to go back again. Tessa did great on the flight as well. Only fussed a little bit and no screaming. She did so much better then all the other kids on the same flight.

Painting a table

There are so many ways of painting a piece of furniture. This is what I picked for this particular table. With any furniture that you would want to repaint, please do yourself a favor and take the time to sand it down!!!

After sanding I started with a coat of Ivory. I almost always use spray paint because it is much easier especially around those decorative legs.

After the Ivory coat dries I painted my last coat. The purpose of the Ivory coat is just so when I sand down the brown the Ivory will peep through.

Here I have the Brown all done above. Below you can see that I started to sand it down.

Here is the finished piece in my living room. Big mistake that I have made was the direction I spray painted and sanding. I should have spray painted length wise because that is the direction I was sanding. Oh well, Not going to sand it down and redo again. Still looks great!

Next project...painting those curtains you see on the windows.

Family Fun

I know, it is kinda wrong of me to say family fun when all the pictures I have is of Tessa. She is just so cute, we love to watch her and sometimes laugh at all the funny things she does. We had our first little outing in our back yard yesterday on Ryan's day off.

Strawberry Cake

I love this strawberry cake recipe. Every time I make it before you know it, it will be all gone! (Sorry no pictures. I would take one, but I already ate half of it)

Ingredients:
half package of vanilla cake
1 package of cream cheese
1 tub of whip topping
1C powder sugar
1lb of fresh strawberry hulled
1tub of strawberry glaze

Bake cake according to package in a 13x9 pan (preferably glass)

Soften cream cheese and add in powder sugar. *Mix very well. Then add whip topping to the cream cheese mix

Chop strawberry to little pea size pieces

When the cake is cooled spread the cream cheese mixture on top and add the chopped strawberries (spread it around) then add the glaze (spread that too)

Refrigerate for a few hours and it is done!

I have made my own whipcream instead of buying the whip topping. It is still delish, but it does not firm up as well. You can also make your own strawberry glaze if you chose to.

Yes I know I promised photos 2 posts or so ago and I still have not posted them. Well it is 8:33 at night and I am ready for bed. Lucky for you I just found my camera! I think I left it at my friend Megan's house. Anywho....this is what we have been up to the last week (I will back track a little later).

We went to the Chinese New Year festival over at the Chinese Cultural Center in Phoenix. Here are baby Tessa and Olive.

We hung out later that eve as well with the Nelsons and our other neighbor the Ayers. So this is what happends when we get together. Everyone is just hanging out and Ryan is off by himself playing video games. Silly boy.

This week we have nothing really going on, but I will for sure post more pictures now that I found my camera (Thanks Megan!). Will post updates soon of the house...

The best steak tacos

So as most of you know I have been married a little over 2 years now and for the last 2 years I have been perfecting my cooking skills. Poor people Chinese food is what I am actually pretty good at but it is not the most delish to the average people and it does not always look fantastic. So since I married Ryan I have been branching out to other things and making some yummy yummy delish food.

Steak Tacos (or whatever else you want to use the steak to make)

Story: My friend Emily posted on her blog about Backyard Mexican. BM is actually not a restaurant but a family cooking in their backyard every weekend and you can go and buy food and sit in their backyard to eat. Delish Mexican food might I add. Well, I learned how they cooked their meat and I have not been back since. They used just steak and salt, but I added a few other things. Here is my version.

Steak:
Thin sliced chuck
Sea salt
chili powder
garlic powder
cumin
smoking chips (I think mesquite is best but I use hickory cuz it was what I had)

Rub the chuck with sea salt, chili, garlic and cumin. I would go easy on the cumin because cumin is a really potent spice. Let it sit over night in the fridge.

BBQ the meat till the edges is a little brown and crispyish or to your liking. Remember the wood chips*

Chop up the meat to small pieces for serving and serve with pico, guac, chopped up cabbage, hot sauce, etc.

You can use this for tacos, steak salad, tostatas, I don't know...whatever you want.

My recommendation for tortilla is use the uncooked ones and cook them fresh when serving. It is totally worth the work!!!

So I am trying to stalk blogs and I realized that I have now lost access to half of the blogs I stalked.Seriously? If you are on my list of blogs to stalk please add me on your private thing-a-ma-jig so I can stalk your blog!

So now about mommyhood, I love it! I love my little cheekers. Today I went on a date with Ryan for our little valentine outing and I miss that little bon bon like crazy. The way I describe it so Ryan would understand was to try and leave his iPhone at home for a couple of hours and tell me how you feel. Yeah, he would go absolutely insane. Not only does the child have to go through separation anxiety, but so does the parent(s).

There are so many little moments of joy with Tess I can't even count them. She is so amazing and learning so fast. Here is a list at no particular order:

I love the way she squeals
I love how strong she is (she was able to push herself up at 5 weeks?)
I love how she just learned to blow bubbles with her mouth
I love the way she tries to talk
I love it when she rubs her eyes when she is tired
I love it when she would laugh at the weirdest things...

Freedom makes her laugh
noise a paper makes sometimes makes her laugh
bouncing up and down makes her laugh
tickles
me laughing makes her laugh
oh there are so many things that makes her laugh

I love it when she tries to swim on the floor
Her smiles are heavenly :)
She will make funny faces before she starts to really cry

I can't even list everything there are so many. I love being Tessa's mom. She is so perfect!

Wow Long Time!!!

Seriously, how long has it been since I posted...yeah about 6 months ago. Where have I been? I have no idea. Can having a baby really take up all your time so you stop blogging? I will answer myself, that will be a NO. I just have not made blogging a priority.

As I was, and still, making dinner I came across a few thoughts that maybe someone as bored as you would like to read about. So there I was chopping cabbage for the mouthwatering Mexican meal that we will have tonight I noticed that my feet hurts standing there. Then I realized that I needed to balance my weight better and put more weight to the front of my feet so my heel will not hurt so bad. SO HERE WAS THE REAL THOUGHT. Old ladies all have the crusty heels...OMG I am getting old. I just thought that they get the crusty heels because they don't take care of their feet, but no, I take very good care of my feet and I can keep it up so it does not look absolutely gross. End of that thought.

Tessa is so old now, before I know it I will be helping her move to her first apartment and I will be heart broken that I can't keep my eyes on her 24 hours. I just love those chubby cheekies to pieces!! She is maybe 17lbs now and she is tall. I forget how tall she is but she is in the 85% tile for hight. Her favorite thing to do right now when she is bored is to blow bubbles with her spit. She can sit by herself and roll as she wishes and she LOVES Monkee see Monkee do.

We repainted our living room...yup it has only been a little over one year since we moved in and we are repainting. Ryan actually accidentally made a hole in the wall so I used that excuse to redecorate (shhhh... don't tell him). We also put up crown molding in our livingroom. I will post pictures...I am just too lazy to find the camera, go in my messy office that I have been putting off cleaning, and sit there. Tessa has issues with not seeing me and the office right now is no place for baby. :(

I love you guys and I have not stalk any blogs lately, I need to hop on that and see what everyone is up to.

More thoughts on motherhood in the next post, don't want to bore you with too much all at once. xoxo

Oh where do I even start? It has been so long since I wrote a blog. Bad Sunny, bad!

It felt so long but it came so quickly, before I knew it I was at the hospital. It all happened on the 21st. It was about 2am in the morning when I was woken up by a contraction, I never went back to sleep after that. Since I was already awake I thought I might as well go to the bathroom and that was when the confusion started. For the next 5 hours I was not sure if I actually lost my mucus plug and if I was leaking amniotic fluid or I just lost control of my bladder and I couldn't hold my pee. Well long story short my water broke and so we worked on getting to the hospital, of course we took our sweet time. I started to get dressed and pack stuff for Freedom because she was going to stay at Ryan's family's house for a night or two. Here we are:

By the time we got to the hospital it was 11am. So water broke at 2am and we didn't get to hospital till 9 hours later...don't ask me how I drugged it so long but I did.

Hospital- First we went to triage things were good there till I needed to get the IV in. It was a guy that did it and my first impression of him was not the greatest. At first I thought he was kinda "slow" just from his speech, not long after I started to get nervous because his entire ora speaks NERVOUS. I am not afraid of needles, I am a regular blood donator, however he scared the crap out of me. I know this for a fact...I have large veins, no nurse EVER had a hard time finding my veins, he did. Then after he got the needle in blood might as well squirt out cuz it was EVERYWHERE! To make it worse, after he was finally all done he went and tripped over the tubs that was connected to my IV. Sigh...poor soul. Don't worry, it didn't pull my IV out when he tripped over it. During triage it was the only time that Ryan felt sick...he did great through the rest of it.

That was pretty much the worst experience I had there. I wanted to try to have her with out epidural but I'm telling you now that did not happen. When I got in I was only dilated at 1cm. So they gave me pitocin. Pitocin gave me worst contraction pains then I had imagined....I guess I can't really compare to not having pitocin but it was painful and I only lasted 4 hours of heavy contractions that happened every 2 mins. After the 4 hours I started to tear and I couldn't handle it anymore so I asked for epidural. At the end of the 4 hours I was dilated to a 4. Epidural is amazing! not only it took the pain away it helped me dilate so much faster. An hour later I was dilated to 9. I pushed for about 1hour 45 min and baby Tessa was here.

Long time no post

So what is new lately you ask? Well, lots! No particular order but here it goes....I had my babyshower thrown my my besties...They are wonderful and it was so much fun!

Next...I think this was when I was 30 weeks? or it could have been 29 weeks...

I have been working on several projects as well since I dont think I will have time after Tessa pops out So here it goes...first is my office (messy I know, don't judge)

Next is my master bath...that is just the sink area, I changed the shower curtain and rug to match as well

I also have been doing lots of spray painting and I painted these frames gold that I got from good will for like a buck each, and a bench black that is not shown, perhaps another post.

Last but not least Ryan and I enjoy our time at home and we are very bad at taking pictures of the both of us so here are the loves of my life...

I love my iMac

I just love my desktop! Ryan and I decided that we would get an iMac for our Christmas present for each other and it is seriously the best purchase ever. This thing has been so useful and helpful with our life and my aspiring business. Thats right, my business. I have been always had a love for interior design and I think now that I don't have a job it is the best excuse to get over my excuses in pursuing my dream of owning my own business in interior decorating. So far everything is in the works, just got my business card and my site should be up by Friday....busy busy person I have been!

Talking about my own business Ryan has been more then supportive. I am thankful for such a great husband, how can I live my life with out him now that I know he exist? I can't. Having him gone for a night with boys is kinda torture :(

I did mention I will be posting pictures....I will save that for next post when I actually remember to take pictures in the day time. As for now, Good night.

Been so long since I have post

Wow it has been so long since I have made a post about me and my family. So what has been going on? Well, I am still pregnant. I am at 25 weeks now coming up on 26 weeks this friday. Here is a picture of me at 23 weeks.

My pregnancy. So far the most important thing right now I guess. Honestly, I really enjoy being pregnant. Besides some of the difficulties with sleeping it has been an adventure and I really like it. Tessa is kicking a lot now (probably because she is getting bigger and space is limited). I like to think she already has a little personality already in the belly. I love her.

As for how Ryan is dealing with my pregnancy he has been super supportive. Life is good and it is so much fun to watch him being a dad already starting with Freedom (our dog). Just tonight he was teaching Freedom how to like the vaccume cleaner (haha). Needless to say that was fun for me to watch.

As most of you already know. I have no job and Ryan is the only one working. Cross your fingers that I get on AHCCCS.

What have we been doing lately? Home improvment actually. We have done a lot with our house. We got our yard done and Ryan has been so handy. He built me a desk for our office and planter boxes for our back yard and a work bench for his garage. I will post pics sometime soon hopefully.

Love you all and I know this is a lot to read so I will save some other stuff for another day.

Home made Laundry Soap

Here is the best thing in the world!!!

I love this detergent, it gets smells out of things it is so amazing (Ryan and I don't stink that bad, I am talking about Freedom's bed that I wash). Here is the recipe:

1/3 bar Fels Naptha Soap
1/2 C Washing Soda
1/2 C Borax Powder

You will also need a small bucket, about 2 gallon size.

Grade the soap and put it in a sauce pan. Add 6 cups water and heat it until the soap melts. Add the washing soda and the borax and stir until it is dissolved. Remove from heat. Pour 4 cups hot water into the bucket. now add your sop mixture and stir. Now add 1 gallon plus 6 cups of water and stir. Let the soap sit for about 24 hours and it will gel. You use about 1/2 cup per load.

*Advisory- The mixture will separate, shake before each use.
*It will be easier if you already have a gallon of water on hand while making this recipe.

I can't even experess the happieness I feel when I feel Tessa kick. It makes me giggle every time. I already feel like she has a little personality already and she gets fussy when I don't wear things that makes her comfortable. I can't wait to meet her and see that little face of hers. BTW, She totally has Ryan's nose, it is amazing how they look like us! haha. Sorry no pictures lately, I have been unemployed and lazy with taking new pictures. Once all my projects are done I will sure to post some.

For now I am just working on decorating my home and make sure it is ready for Tessa to be here. Check out my other blog when you get a chance.

My poor handicapped Freedom

This is her Sat evening :( My poor Free Free did something with her back paw nails while we went on a walk and she snapped it! It was bleeding all over the place. Good thing we were not too far from home so I carried her home and placed her in the bath tub cuz blood was DRIPPING! It got on Ryan's leg, my pants, on the floor...etc. Eventually we cleaned her up and was able to super glue her nails and wrap it up to prevent it from snapping again.

Poor Freedom has pretty much spent her days on our bed just laying here all the days since sat night. I think she might be just taking advantage of the situation, that or she just don't like the sticky tape and gauze that i put on her leg. She looks so pathetic.

It's.....A GIRL!!!

I know it has been a while now but i am a bad blogger and I am working on it. So most of you know who are FaceBookers that we are having a girl! We can't be more excited for this little bundle of joy pops out. Ryan is already dying to have a little baby to hold.....look below.

This is one of the things I love in life. I think I have the cutest little family. Ryan is trying to hold Freedom like a baby. Not sure if she liked it but she stayed there for a while :) She loves daddy attention.

Story: Last night I was making dinner with the back door open cuz it was nice outside and so Freedom can run in or run out to her desire. Close to dinner time she knows Ryan is coming home soon. Ever time she hears a car outside going Vroom Vroom she runs to the front door and looks out the window expecting Ryan's car pull up. It was cute and things like that warms up my heart even though she is just a doggy, she is after all my child for now.

Nursery Inspiration

Since Lara has posted her nursery inspiration I guess I will post mine as well. I have always loved "Guess how much I love you" book. I just think it is so cute and so sweet. So here is my inspiration room.

Since I don't know if I am having a boy or girl this is a pretty unisex room which is how I wanted it anyways. I will be twigging some parts of it to match some colors in the book, but in general I want to get this feel of calm and simple. It's going to be a great project, can't wait.

Little Baby Biggs (Frogger)

So here is the little one. So far we are being told that it is a healthy baby and it moves so much! When we saw it this time it was dancing and kicking and bouncing! Ryan could not believe how much it moved in there. During this appt I was able to figure out when the baby was moving and what it felt like. I can feel the baby now! Granted I have to pay attention to feel it but it is a blast to know that its in there and it's still moving!.

Ryan calls this the Spartan Kick!

It looks like it is sucking it's thumb but its little hands is just by this face.

Tonight I learned that my grandma who is 78 years old still wear heels...she is old and she is short so I guess it makes sense. Tough lady. My mom said to my grandma that she is meant to live long, even if she wanted to die she couldn't.

Why is that people want others to change? ...if you want to world to change you have to start with yourself.

It takes longer to get a point across in Chinese than in English.

I like good manner, proper etiquette, class, etc. I would like things to go back to the time when there was more respect. I guess there is nothing I can do then to raise my kids that way...can't change everyone. I def enjoy being proper, I don't know why.

Dogs are amazing. They keep you company because they don't leave your side. They are great companions when there is no one else around and they will love you no matter what.

My new year resolution? I don't have one. There are so many things that I want to do with myself that I cannot just put one as priority. Every bit of me can change for the better and I will be working on that every single year till the day I die.

I got this piece from Goodwill on one of those Saturdays of the 50% off days. This I bought for $10, what a steal! This will go into my living room after it is painted black and I will be inserting a whiteboard in where the mirror use to be.

This is a chest coffee table. It has a latch on both sides but you can't really tell because the table is on its side. Sorry I did not have the room to put it up right at this moment. This will be sanded and painted RED!!! It is an amazing table that was given to us for FREE. I love things that are cheap and FREE.

Pregnacy start till now....

So to start this off...this was a surprise for us. We were planning on maybe trying sometime next year...after a big last vacation or something...use my snowboard one last season, you know how it goes (selfish stuff). Well it started with a team builder from work going to Az state fair. There were tons of rides and fun stuff to do. I keep on getting the feeling that I prob should not go on too many rides especially the ones that might make you throw up. I kinda thought I might be pregnant but I had no reason to believe that so I followed what I felt and only went on like one ride and hold purses and bags and food for all the others that had a great time.

A week later I was 2 days late. No big deal, I have been late for 2 days before and aunt flow always shows. 4 days late...started to worry. I had just worked really hard digging holes in my back yard for some plants so I'm thinking that I just put too much stress on my body so my period is extra late because of that. Waited a few more days till the 7th day late...sigh....really worried so I took a prego test, BFN (big fat no). So at this point I'm thinking maybe I did not ovulate this month so I am not getting my period, it has never happen before but what the heck, it can start now. Day 10, still no sign of period and now Ryan is getting nervous so I took a test again...Positive this time!!!!

I took the second test in the morning before work and when it turned positive Ryan was still sleeping...it was only 5am in the morning! I immediately went to Ryan, woke him up and told him what I have just discovered and shortly after it was followed with tears down my face cuz i was freaking out! Ryan was so nice to make me feel better and vocalized that "We are having a baby!" He is the sweetest husband and nothing is better then his support for such a surprise.

Welp, since then I have been sick but have not really puked yet and I hope I don't. I have pretty much every symptom there is to have about pregnancy. I have always been normal for every medical condition or none at all. So Christmas kinda sucks this year cuz I have no energy to do ANYTHING! I sleep through work, home, chores... sigh.

I have a belly now, or you could call it muffin top. It is not very pretty, I FEEL fat. When my belly is more of a belly I will post pictures if I am not too lazy to post on my blog.

Ok so here is the house. I know i mentioned that i was not going to post till i am done, but i ran out of funds so this is what i got so far. I will take pics of the kitchen again once i get my new dinning table in tomorrow. I will keep posted. The kitchen is actually a light lime green. very pretty...you can't really tell with the pictures, i know it looks yellow.

Next to the painting on the right that you can bearly see there will be like sconces or something to go with the painting.

Our little house!

We technically moved in Thursday Oct 29th when we got our keys. We did not officially move in with all of our stuff till the 31st. Wow we love having our own place. It is nice and peaceful and it is just the way we like it. What I love the most? I can cook again!!!! I think second to Interior Design habits I love to cook and like to think that I am a pretty darn good one :) Well the house is close to being done in the front room and in the kitchen...still needs some touches so I am not posting those pictures yet but I will post what it looked like when we just moved in. Oh and just a little treat...I painted a tree in the hall way. Enjoy.

Ryan and I are signing for our house today! We are so excited. Because as of this point once all the paperwork is good all is left is the final walk through for the house and we are IN! Whoot whoot! I can't even express the excitement I feel right now. As much I had fun living with Ryan's family I am so ready to have our own place again.

We have plans to paint the kitchen light lime green and the living room gray. Don't have plans for any other rooms yet....I wanted to get the big areas taken care of first. We have so much we have to do once we move in. I can hardly wait. I will post pictures when we move in...I will have a before and after. My house after all will be part of my portfolio.

I know....Ryan's birthday was back in September on the 13th. What is todays date? Oh, am I late? Well I did give this to him on his birthday, I guess just forgot to announce it. I painted this for him and I think he likes it. I was able to hide this in our apartment for about 1 month before I could not old it anymore and had to show him. :) Happy Birthday Ryan!!!

life as of now is in stand still, nothing really going on. Still waiting for our house being built and now we are living at Ry's parent's house. Not too bad living here, so generous of them to give us a room to stay in. Our house should be done 29th of October so that is the date that we have been looking forward to. After which I will be posting a lot more once we put our house together to make it our home. I already have so many ideas, it will be fun.

The Story...Part 1

This is a little late but for the last couple of days I have been thinking about how Ryan and I came together.

Sad to say that this was the meeting place but we technically met New Years Eve 2007 at...wanna guess?....Amazing Jakes. Don't know how many of you will remember that party but it was big and it was fun for those who are single. Ryan was in town for the holidays from school at the Air Force Academy and went out with his friends to the same party. One of his friend I have known for years because we were in the same family ward, and that was how we met. That night we flirted a little ( at this point my friend Megan ditched me because she thinks I should hang out with him). when the night was slowing down the girls were ready to go. I had already said bye a while ago and I was still making my rounds when he found me to just to get my number. haha, what a goof.

The night is not over. My friends and I went to an after party the same night (because we are cool...maybe not) Saw him there and flirted some more. later after the after party he texted me to hang out...it was late. If you are asking if he got a New Year kiss from me that would be a negative :) I don't just do that. In fact he did not get a kiss till the third date.

People to thank that night...Megan for ditching me with him, his friends that decided to call the night after the after party, and the people that threw these parties so that we could meet.

after that night it was just a series of weirdness. We had a date everyday till he had to go back to school at Colorado Springs. I'm going to skip to the third date because it was the best. He took me to Hyett in Scottsdale and just hung out in the court yard/pool area. This to him was the make it or break it date. I have never dated younger till Ryan...in my head I thought this was all just a joke till.....HE CALLED ME OUT. Whoa whoa whoa What?!!! He had the guts to call me out and then after that I had so much more respect for him for not beating around the bush. That night was our first kiss at the top of the stairs in the court yard with the flowing water falling into the glistening pool. It was the most amazing kiss I have ever had. TMI, I know.

I went to go see him in Colorado with my friends from work in February and I think that trip brought us where we are now. We were so completely obsessed with each other. He is amazing. From then on it was all a blur. We were engaged in May and Married September 2008. He dropped out of school so he could be married (the USAFA does not allow them to be married while they are in school) to think that we were almost going to have a 3 year engagement. I love him, I would have waited the whole 3 years. I have to say though, I am not sorry that he decided to leave. Either way would have worked but I am glad he is with me now.

Birthday/Anniversary: Benihana

So last night we celebrated My birthday which is the 26th(this Satureday) and our Anniversary which was Sunday. We got there pretty late and was seated with another couple that was their second date. All I have to say is that it was an interesting night, fun, but interesting.

One thing that surprised me was that the people there could tell that Ryan and I are LDS. I have never thought that people could tell at least I am because I am Asian. Not many Asian LDS people around here. I think.

What else.....I think that is it. The food was wonderful and I loved every bit of it. You can sign up on the benihana site and recive a $30 coupon for the month of your birthday. It is a good deal. :)

Make-up Anyone?

So on Tuesday I was asked to help out with the Miamaids activity. I was in charge of teaching them about make up. I have never really taught before, I was scared. It turned out alright...I was little nervous. I showed them some tricks to bring out their natural beauty and some of the best colors for their eyes and cheeks.

I love doing make up but I don't think I am the best teacher. I want to do make up for a photo shoot, it's been too long...anyone interested?

Wow I never win anything...I mean anything at all. I was wrong. Monday I got a call from this Alliance Sweepstake place and they said I was one of 8 winners for Anna's linens for $500 giftcard!!! I could not believe it, me, win?

Well long story short...I bought a comforter there cuz one of Ryan's friend was going to stay with us for a couple of days (btw he end up not). They were so nice over there I decided that I will fill out the survey thatwas on the recipt for that store. Two months later I get this call and I am just so excited.

As most of you know, we are moving into our house soon and this cannot be more then better timing for a nice gift to a home store.

So I have been depressed lately about my life. Don't get me wrong...I have a great life but I just started to realized why I have worked for the last 2 years doing the same thing and no progress in my own desire to work my dream.

What is my dream you might ask? I want to start my own company in interior decorating...if I can just tough it out and finish school maybe one day I can be a designer. Eventually I would love to have my own little shop with all of the beautiful little things that brings sunsine in homes.

I have tried so hard lately to get it started...I feel like I need a name first. Sounds kinda lame but if I can have a name and get it submited and officialized by the state records office then get a tax ID then build from there I have a good chance of actually doing it.

I need help. I have got some new names that my wonderful husband helped me come up with and I need your vote. I dont have a lot of readers so if you can tell your friends to help vote that would be awesome!

So I basically have been lazy and did not wanted to post anything because my life is boring and I thought I did not have anything that would be entertaining to read.

The fact is, I love my life. Where do I even start so you may know just how much I love my life? Ummmm, I can start with Ryan....he is my favorit. Then life it's self. I am debating at this moment of typing useless words if I should go into detail on how wonderful life is here on earth, but then I realize that if I go into detail I might be ending up describing how the grass is so amazing and there are so many different kinds and how amazing trees are and how there is a tree that is 10 times of a blue whale and it weights at about 2000 tons. Gods creation is amazing and to think that all this is just for US!!!

I can't help but feel so thankful for the life that I live and all the people involved in mylife to help me grow and mature into a decent human being. I love you all and no I don't have updated pictures. Sorry.

St. George, UT trip

Ok so this is how things start...Ryan and I. We actually start trips with a kiss but that might not be so appropriate to put up here so here we are starting on our trip. We actually gave a ride to little Chilupa up to Utah. His family had to move with out him and it has been long enough so he is going home. What a cute little guy....he was so tiny and he loved to give kisses. Look at him attacking Ryan!

So we went to Utah to attend a sealing for one of Ryan's companion from his mission in Brazil. The St. George Temple is so beautiful and I must say...we love St. George. The weather up there was so nice and it is such a cute little town/city.
Here is Ryan and one of his comps waiting for the bride and groom to come out. His name will be put up soon...sadly to say I dont remember his name. He is really cool though. Him and Ryan had a good time talking about guns and concealed weapon's permit and all of that.
Here is a group of them all went on the same mission. It was fun to meet his old comps.
After the wedding we decided to spend a day at Grand Canyon. It was so beautiful there. Big hole or not, it was a beautiful big hole.

Found a new friend. He does not have a name but I am pretty sure he is looking for us to give him some food. He got pretty close and was being all cute. After he decided that we were not going to give him people food he went on the edge of the cliff and just plopped down and begin his sun bathing session...it was cute...he's got some chunky legs.

We love a weekend in cool weather and nice scenry. It was so nice to leave AZ every once in a while. We had a blast and it was a much needed little vacation. If only we could do this more often. :( All in all...this was a beautiful and nice trip.

St George here we come! So trying to get ready for this trip was insane. We suck at planning trips out. So as you can see we have lots of things going on for us right now. We both have full time jobs, have 7.3 hours of school spread out into 4 days of the week pluse home work that we need to complete outside of school. We bearly have time for dishes and laundry. Anyways, back on track. So first we thought it would only take like 6 hours to St. George and we could leave here in Az at like 12 and be there just in time for the reception....WRONG! I am so stupid, it actually takes 7 hours and guess what? I FORGOT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS. How do i forget that? I work with students that are on the other side of the country and i have to think about time change all day long to make appts. Well plans changed and we are leaving at 10am now. Well I guess that is a good thing cuz then that means I can leave work earlier :)

Super lame? Yes we are.

So there is not much going on. Ryan is still working at the same place and so am I. I work over time now so I am pulling 11 hour days. School just started for Ryan and I. We go to school from 5:45 to 9:50pm Monday and Wednesdays. On Tuesday and Thursdays we only go to school till 7pm (not too bad). Other then that we are still looking for homes. Ryan and I are going to Utah in St. George for the weekend to go to a wedding and that will be fun! I am so excited to meet some of his mission companions. That is about it. Loves!

I have not posted forever and so most of you are out of the loop. Here are the things happending.

We have an offer on a old old house in east mesa on brown and ellsworth. it is 3b2bth and slightly ghetto
Freedom has left the apartment. they finally found out that we have a dog and so she is now living with mom and pop biggs. i miss her very very very very very much. she is my little baby.
Ryan and i both signed up for summer class at mcc taking astronomy. it will be fun to be in the same class.
i signed up for calsses for fall and i will be taking 3 classes in interior design at mcc. ryan will be going to asu i think.
I regret in buying tresseme...what made me think that just because it is cheap it will be the same quality as my expensive stuff. i have now testify that i am very wrong and i should just get what Mo tells me to get.
Ryan is the best husband ever! he is so sweet and loves me everyday, especially the days that i miss freedom the most.
4 months left till we are going to the temple to be sealed.

well that s about it i think. not much else. untill next time when i have something else more productive to say, I love you!!!

My Heroes!!!

Ok so I got lucky to have a family of heroes!!

The story started Sunday afternoon. I was getting ready to go to my parents house to have our Sunday dinner with family and play games. I was standing in the semi dark closet trying to pick out my outfit for the night. As I was scamming through my limited selection of choices of clothing as I notice that freedom just jumped back really quickly from me then came back. She is really good at finding little things on the floor to chew/eat. I was thinking it was a piece of thread that she is playing with since we were in the closet and that was the logical thing to assume. I turned on the light to see that it was not a string but a SCORPION!!!! It was right by my foot and if Freedom did not try to chew on it and turned it upside down I prob would have stepped on it or it could have stung me! She saved me!

As I am talking loudly about the scorpion and talking to Freedom to see if she got stung Ryan ran right in and saw the situation. He immediately picked up the scorpion with a pair of scissors and chopped off the tail and flushed it down the toilet. What a brave soul he is! My Hero!!!!

I love my family...they take care of me!

PS, Freedom is fine..I think the scorpion might have used the pinchers on her but did not sting her.

No Deal

***WARNING: THIS IS A LONG POST***

Wow where do I even start? Befor we start I want you to know that we would much rather do financing through USAA but they dont offer FHA loans, only conventional or VA. So most of you know that Ryan and I are IN PROCESS of getting a house. Well a lot of stuff went on in just a few days. We were pretty close in closing...we were coming up on the end of inspection period and was in process of getting the appraiser to the house.

Lets do a little recap on what we were doing. We have a realtor, a broker for our loan getting a FHA loan. Everything was going great and we had already paid the inspection guy to look at the house and it seems all going so well, infact we even took our family out there to look at the place.

The broker went over what we will be paying from the Good Faith Estimate and everything seemed fine there and everything was good. Untill Monday I had a thought that popped in my head that Ryan and I should call USAA and get a quote of Good Faith Estimate from them. Now keep in mind that Ryan and I have already thought about USAA, but knowing that they dont do FHA we did not even bother. Some reason though I had Ryan call them regarless even if we are not going to use them.

I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE RESULTS! With our broker in the end our mortgage payment would be high $600. USAA which remember this is a quote of an conventional loan in the end the estimated mortgage was low $400...$200 DOLLAR DIFFERENCE!!!!!! Where does that money go? I know that there is a fee for the broker and I understand that, but what about the rest? Then we called AZ fed and they gave us a way better quote then what our broker has given us for FHA loan as well.

Obviously from this newly known information we could not go through with the original plan of using the broker. I had a real hard time with this because I felt so bad that the broker has worked so hard on this and then we just pretty much rip the rug right out from under him. Poor guy. What are we to do though, would you have done the same in finding a better lender so you dont pay as much?

In the end making a change like this of a different lender really is messing with too much between us and the seller so we decided to take back our offer. We had thought about just going through with it then refi later or try and see if we can get an extention, but we both were so uneasy with the decision that we though if it is this undecisive we should just be done with it and look again later.

It is good to know of the different options that we have when we did not know of the difference before. I just wish that there are more people out there that looks for OUR best interest then not. We are very thankful and blessed to know of this before it is too late.

I think we are going to try to save more money for down payment because if we do conventional loan that is 10% down instead of the FHA 3.5%. The end.

House

Wow so buying a house is crazy!!!! I think second time would be easier cuz we would have already gone through it once. We are so excited.

On Wednesday we had our inspection done and that was really fun to find out all sorts of little stuff that needs to be fixed. From what he can see the previous tendants were really violent. The place was not in great great shape, there are a few fixer upper areas. We were so thankful for Bob Garrard to inspect our home. He is so wonderful.

So right now we are waiting for the house to be visited by an appraser. Hope that goes well too. Bob told us that the AC is not working very well and I hope that the appraser will make the seller fix it before we move in.

We are currently looking for somone to move into our appartment because we wont be able to finish our lease. The lease is up end of September and rent is $617. We are offering $500 for the person taking over our lease. If you know anyone let Ryan and I know. Thanks!!!

Bad Night

Last night was one of the horrific night I have ever experienced since after seeing the movie The Ring. What was so weird was that Ryan was in the same boat.

We went to bed as usual last night. At around 1:30 we both woke up and pretty fully awake unable to be comfortable and both of us had really bad uneasy dreams. After getting up we both still feel uneasy. I wish I could describe what it all feels like but uneasy is the best I can come up with. Being the religious girl that I am I can tell that there was a bad spirit there. I hate knowing that there is bad spirit in my home...IT IS MY HOME!!!! My home is suppose to be my safe place! Don't know how it happend and why but this bad spirit was hard to chase away. Usually a little prayer will make me feel all better but even a prayer with Ryan did not work. We ended up staying up for an hour and a half saying prayers and reading scriptures. Then IT FINALLY LEFT! We turned off the lights and layed in bed. It is amazing the difference of feeling after reading scripture and diligently trying to have the good spirits there. We both fell right back to sleep and it was all good from there.

I am so greatful for the gosple and the knowledge that I have that we can always have Heavenly Father's angels watch over us as we work to keep it there.

I know one thing for sure...I hate that yucky feeling that bad spirits bring. Darn Satan!

Veggie Lover

We are having burgers tonight (or had). Freedom naturally is interested when I am in the kitchen. I was getting some lettuce for the burgers and little miss Freedom is just staring at me. Some parts of the lettuce on the outside was a little flimsy and I was just going to throw it away. She looked so cute like Bolt in the movie begging for food so I gave her a leaf. Is she not the cutest little creature? I got a video too of her eating it. Kinda lame but she is fun.

So here it is.........OUR FIRST HOUSE!!!!! So what does everyone think? Beautiful isn't it? There is just the two of us so I thought we only really needed one room. To save some money we will just sell everything and sleep on the floor. There is nothing better then to bring it back to the old days of life. I don't have pictures yet but Ryan was kind enough to build me a kitchen with some sticks around the fire pit. He is so sweet.

Ok so all of the above is really just for fun. Wouldn't it be interesting to live in hut? Ha ha, maybe not. Well, Ryan and I are on our way to see maybe we can find a permanent home instead of apartment. Our little family will grow someday and we will need room.

I know, I have been real lame and have not posted anything. Things are going just nothing HUGE by any means. So if you are interested you bear with me on this....I will type as I think so beware to get lost in thoughts. :)

Work is suprizingly turning around for some reason, I guess heavenly father thinks that I need to stay just a bit longer.

Freedom got a new crate. She does not like it very much because it is so different then her Kennel. We had to get her a new one becasue her Kennel is about 4 inches shorter then she is and she is so crammed in there.

Sara had baby Ellee and I love her. She is so sweet and holding her put me back on wanting one myself....those thoughts comes and goes...

I have bangs!!! Yeah no pictures for this post. I want to say half of my family does not like it and I am not sure even Ryan likes it.

Ryan and I went to the Desert Botanicle Garden with my family and it was so much fun. Gene my stepdad works there and he give us a tour and it was nice to see all the cool disply of glass with beautiful desert plants. Just incase you did not know, Gene actually writes poems and the Garden wants to publish a couple of his poems. In fact they are in the process of publishing a book full of poems that he has written in the past. I guess he is really good at it, most of the time I can't tell that I am hearing a poem.

So I actually donate blood on a regular basis. I like it because I think I am helping some what to help people because I really do not do enought to contribute to the society. I just attended another BLOODY EVENT yesterday (Tuesday) at work. I dont usually get any side effects from giving blood, but this time I was not feeling so hot.

I got back to work shortly after I have just gave about a pint of blood and I started to feel really really tired. I have never felt any sort of anything from giving blood!!! Well this time I started to figure out why I was feeling really fatique. Someone had suggested that I go weight myself and I thought I was still haning on to my 120 something since I had been on that weight forever. Just in case you guys are wondering...last year about the same time I was bout 130lbs. Some awesome person at work actually had a scale so I found out that I weight about 114lb now. I have lost a lot of weight and I did not even know it. I am only 4 lbs over the limit where I may not be able to donate.

I have not done a whole lot different in what I eat....The only thing I can see is that I dont really eat much after 6pm and I go to bed about 10pm. I guess I can say that if you want to lose some extra fluff....don't eat 3-4 hours before sleeping. :)

So Ryan got another job....He works now for LeSueur Car Company. He is a sells person there so if you need help finding a car contact him.

What I like about this change is that he now has SUNDAYS OFF!!! I absolutly love that. I hate him working on Sundays and having him home will be so amazing. We are so blessed with so many opportunities and to make life easier.

Ryan likes it there so far. People there are good people and they have good used cars. Ryan actually got this Civic Si there on the same lot.

PUPPY CLASSES!!!

Oh my cute little Freedom is getting some puppy classes. I like to think she is excited about it. This is Ryan and mine's first investment in our little one's education. Ha Ha. She is already a very obedient puppy, but she has some flaws that can be fixed. We spend a good amout of time with the current trainer at Petsmart.

Our trainer's name is Spencer. He has been dealing with dogs/pets since he was 8. He graduated from some sort of training for pets thing. He is now going to ASU to do Vet schooling. Freedom is so smart and already knows so many tricks that Spencer said Freedom can skip the Beginner class and go straight into the Intermediate class. That made us happy because that means we have a smart puppy and it saves us some moola.

Our reasoning to get her some extra training because she is really really bad on the leash and there are some bad little habits that she has that are just bad. We want her to be obedient at home and out side too. she is really good till we leave then she gets too excited and forget all the commands. She is a sweethear and we love her. This would be worth it because we will have another dog eventually and having a good example is everything I think!

So here it is ....my wall decor that is really inexpensive and easily removeable when i move. This is the best I can do for not painting any walls....I really dislike white walls.

Cost: 1.49

Time: About 30 min.

Result: Better then I thought

Materials: Choice of fabric, spray starch for ironing, maybe a paper towel for cleaning up a bit.

So this is what I did. I picked out some colors at walmart and got 1/3 yard of fabric in two colors. I cut them into little squares to over lap them as you have seen above. You spray the wall area with some starch then position your square. Spray more starch on top and make sure you get most of the bubbles out. Leave it to dry and it will stay.

Ryan was such a big help. We did this together so I could not take the credit for all of it. It was his idea to put up the smaller strips of rectangles. He is very creative.

To remove the fabric simply peel it off and eurika!

Ok, so i totally should have posted this a long time ago, but Ryan is now working for Honda at Superstition Springs. So far he likes it and it is def nice to have him working during the day and come home to sleep at night.

We know that at this economy it is hard to sell anything, but Honda have made some changes so that their current employees can still make profit as they did before. Wish Ryan luck and come see him if you need help finding a car.

The Most Fab Weekend EVER!!!

I dont even know where to start.....I guess it could start with right after work Friday. From after work (3:00) till about 6:00 was the worst ever. We were meeting up with this lady at the bank at 3 so she can buy our car (Pontiac) and she keeps on pushing the time back. Granted she was trying really hard to be there, but just sitting at the bank for 3 hours WAITING was not what I all fun. Long story short, we sold the car and it was so immediate a feeling of relief it was amazing.

Now the parts after is the best part. Later that night Ry and I went to First Friday. If you have never heard of First Friday it is the first Friday of every month they have an art walk held in Phoenix with a bunch of local artist having their art work on the street, in a booth, or gallery. It is so much fun!!! there were music performences and art work like paintings, crafts, WEIRD crafts, food, sculptures, glass work....so many things. Here is some pics...the Ghost Busters were awesome, they totally look real!

Some of the displays are held in homes which are really cool.
On Saturday morning My mother had invited Ryan and I with some ladies in her ward to go to the Chinese New Year Festival. It was held at the Chinese Cultral Center on 44th st. It was so much fun!!!! We had some yummy authentic Chinese food (it is good to have mommy around cuz she knows everything, i love my mom) and there was performences of Chinese Culture and lots of little booths of things you can buy. Ryan and I got a cool little umbrella that is all Chinese like.
The building theres were really cool so we took some pictures.

Ryan was trying to be such a big nerd with this fun little farmer hat. We were there from 10am till bout 3pm. It was a blast!

After some Cultral shock of the day we went to Ry's families house to rest. We dropped off Freedom there so Ry and I can go to dinner at RA. We planned on going Friday night before the art walk, but dealing with the car took longer then we thought. Sushi was AMAZING!!! everything was so tasty, it was better then all the other times that we went.

After Sushi we went to Jillyn (Day)Larson's birthday party. I cannot believe I have not seen Jillyn since high school! She looked really good and had the cutest little puppies. Happy Birthday Jillyn. After the party we went back to the Biggs home to watch movie with the fam....it was a long but awesome day being out.

Our fantastic weekend don't end there....we still have Sunday! My favorit day of the week. We went to church, got home tought and got invited to dinner by one of the families in our ward. It was such a nice relaxing Sunday. To top it all off we had a great fireside for newly wed couples that night and it was so great they had so many good advice for the wifes and for the husbands. I already love Ryan a lot, but I love him so much more after that with some newly found thoughts. Ryan is amazing and a great husband, I love him so much and it is so fun to have him all weekend with me. This is the first weekend we have had since we got married. I could not ask for a better weekend!

Hiking

So Ry and I today went hiking. It was a lot of fun. We went to I guess it's part of South Mountain. It was a short one. We were able to make it to the top in an hour. Yes I know, it was a short hike. We are so out of shape, it was a good starter.

While we were hiking we found a little bag on the road that had a little bag of poop. Some one packed up the poop and then just left it on the road. People are so weird. (just in case you are wondering we pick it up and threw it away)

Another thing, once we got to the top every one behind us was coming up too. There was a good looking couple that was just a few min behind us. I must say...that girl was showing way too much. She was practically wearing some booty short underwear. I could see her butt hanging out. It was really inappropriate. The guy was not any better....he had his shirt off showing off the many tats he had. They are very interesting to say the least.

Primary....

So I got a calling in Primary teaching the Valiant 10. Today was my turn to teach and I had 13 kids today. It was insane to keep them all sitting down and then we discovered that we did not have enough chairs so some were sitting on the floor. Some kids are great, but some had really loud voices. I love them though, they are all very smart. I love Primary and all the fun things they do and the sweet little spirits they have. I am so blessed to have them!

Coyotes Game

I guess I could have blogged bout this a long time ago, but Ryan and I went to a Coyotes game. At Ry's job QT, every week you can enter your name and they do a raffle for a game or something of a perk. Well Ry's name was picked and we got tickets. I did not realized how expensive these games are. I mean we did not pay anything for it but the price is on the ticket. These are $100 a piece!

It was really fun, we did not get totally into it though. I guess Ry and I are not huge on other sports like hockey. It was fun watching them creaming eachother though. Actually, it was really really fun. We got to cheer when they score and everything. We did not get to stay for the whole game cuz I had to work the next day. It was a fun experience though.

PS. we were like the hottest people there.

First trip of the season:Snowboarding

It was a blast! We went to Snowbowl in Flagstaff and it was def a good first trip. The snow was wonderful, lots of powder. We left early Sat. morning and Jared drove. We did not get any pictures so this one was one that I got off the website.

I must say that Snowbowl is realy really small, much smaller then Sunrise. Since I did not go a whole lot last season I was able to pick myself up and start learning again. I think I am comfortable enough to do some jumps next time. I love snowboarding so much, I wish Ryan enjoy it too. :(

I was sad that Ryan could not go. He had to work the night before and the night after. I was sad and I missed him a lot. He was so sweet, when I got to my car to drive home Ryan had left a wonderful note that he missed me and love me so much with a lil bag of Ghirardelli chocolate. He is such a wonderful husband.

Oh, and Jared and Ashely was on 15 news. I guess they were doing a report on the snow on opening day. So Jared and Ashley was on TV. What else....Bryce and Tyler was ripping it up. Scott biffed it a lot. Tyler was interestingly enough to fall while in line for the lift. haha. that was so funny. The End

ok so here is the news. Ryan and I are looking for a house to live in perminantly. We have a huge problem as to live in the city or live in QC. Here is the dilema, people say that for first time home buyers they are only in their first home around 5 years. (keep that in mind)

city-less house, older house, but value will go up faster

QC-more house, new house, take longer for value to go up. (10-15 years)

i dont know what i want to do. i work in phoenix, ryan works ....where ever. we want a nice house but then if we move in about 5 years QC might not be worth it. I dont know....what do you think?

School Is Out!!!

This will be the last time that I will be looking at this....I hate school. So last night I turned in my final project for these two classes. I must say, my grammer sucks more then a dyson vacuum. Ryan helped me to correct my grammer for both of my finals and I feel so dumb and unable to write a decent paper. I cried and cried, thankfully I have a compassionate husband. He really helped me to feel better. He was so helpful and i am so greatful for him. I am just glad that school is over.

My plan now is to go to MCC or something. Gotta do that hands on stuff, writing really is not my thing.

I have to say, this news was one of the many that happened on black Friday. What has gotten into people? Why has this holiday been turned into rude people in bad moods because of the stressfulness of getting presents? Are presents really what the holiday is all about?

I am not going to lie, I love presents. I just think that we need a good reminder that presents is to symbolize the gifts that Christ got when he was born. We are celebrating his birth and we really should do it more justice.

This holiday is a great chance to show more love and stand out of the crowd of angry mobs that are not getting their way, great chance to do more charity even in your own home, family, and friends. Help each other to make this holiday more joyous for all.

I hope that each of us will take the time to remember the significance of the holiday. I love you and have a safe and blessed holiday.

I have no idea what I want to write about. I just want to talk. I am at work right now and I find myself just stare at my computer screen just sitting here feeling horrible. My eyes feel so heavy and i know if I stand up there is a high possibility of me falling over.

Where do you get a pint of BlueBell icecream? I have a coupon from when I donated blood and I can't even find a pint! I know fry's have blueBell but they dont have pints. Kinda sucks that I can't get icecream.

Ryan and I are proud parents of our lil puppy girl. She is the best puppy I have ever heard of. When we first got her she was from the shelter of course they dont train her or anything. Its been just over three weeks now and she is potty trained, plays fetch, obey commands like sit, laydown, drop it, stay, and no. She does not bark or whine or any noise at all. she is such a sweet heart!

I am so tired I am not sure I can last a whole day.

I get my wedding pics on Friday! yay! So when I get a chance this weekend I will be posting them.

Still love being married....Ryan and I have not fought yet....I been wondering when we will.

I want all my friends to know that I am still your friend....I just have work and school and dog and husband and i am a loser. I am always down for going out if it is planned and in my calender, but I am always avalible for emergencys, you should all know that by now.

I love my husband and I am so thankful for him.

ps. Joe's crab shack is not so bad....it made me sick though....all that deep fry do things to my body that is not what i call healthy.

Freedom!

So you all should know by now....Ryan and I got a baby! Her name is Freedom. She is a Terrier Spaniel Mix. We got her This Last Sat from an shelter that was at the Petsmart at Chandler mall area. Funny story was that we went to see a puppy name Alonzo, but he was not there. We saw Freedom and she is actually Alonzo's sister and we just fell in love with her. She is such and sweet puppy and I must say I am very pleased with her.

After getting her and she is all ours we went into petsmart and got her some necessities. We even had a few min with a dog trainer there. He give us so much advice and dog psy to train our lil love to be house broken. Today is day 4....guess what?! She went to go bathroom outside all by herself! I left the screen door slightly open and she just went out there and did her thing! It made me so happy! That dog trainer knows what he is talking about! well here is some pics of our lil love.

Honeymoon

I love vacation! This was the best vacation I have ever had! it was so much fun. Our stops were San Diego, Catalina Island, and Ensenada Mexico. My favorite stop was Catalina Island. I have more pictures on facebook if you want to check it out.

I would recomand a cruise for every honeymoon. It was great. you can sleep whenever or go out when ever and eat whenever you are hungry cuz everything in inclusive. We walked all over the place when we got off the "floating device" it was great cuz we would get so tired at night we would pass out right after dinner.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention how big of losers we are. We would go to sleep at 8pm and wake up at 5am every day. We never slept in a day! We would wake up and eat breakfast with the old people. We even got comments from an older couple that we are the only young people up this early! lol.

Married Life

I have now been married for 2 weeks and a half. Sorry I have not posted any pictures from the wedding or the honeymoon yet. We will though. I am still waiting on the pictures from Ren. He said he took over 700 pictures on the wedding day alone!

Being married is great! I highly recomanded when you find the right person. We now live in Awatukee. I am still adjusting to living not in Gilbert. I love Gilbert. Our apartment is really coming along and we will be able to invite people to come play with us soon (once we get some chairs for our dinning table and pictures from Ren so we don't have empty picture frames on the wall)

Holy Crap i am getting married!

So i get married in 3 days! i think the hardest thing about getting married is seeing your family going nuts. I hate it and i hope that it will all be over once the wedding is all done. my wish would be after the honeymoon and after moving we will all love eachother again and happy to see the other. tomorrow Ryan and i are going for our bride and groom shots by Vivid Art Photography. Ren is just about the most awesome photographer.

I will post some pictures that he did for our announcement pictures. I just love them and i stare at them and its everywhere i go. i think i might be addicted to get pictures taken, its really fun to do.

so i am blogging at work cuz i am a bad person and i have no desire to work really, this work thing sucks before the wedding. unless i am a workaholic why would i want to work. i guess i need money cuz wedding is expensive and moving is too. dang it i forgot moving cost, i have to budget that in. I got a dress!!!

ok so this was hard and i did not think i was going to find a dress in one day. lil did i know it was done pretty fast.

first of all i like to state (and you guys would all know already cuz all my friends that read my blog are married already) that those darn dresses are effin heavy. i worked up a sweat just trying them on! i mean how do you put them on and try to fine the groud to stand on so you dont trip by stepping on your own dress.

so apparently the style right now is to have lots of beading and sequence and POOF! LOTS AND LOTS OF POOF!

i am looking for something that is not really shiny and no beads or glitter or POOF. and i found the perfect one on the sale rack. i am quite proud of myself cuz i did not spend that much. hurray for me. one more thing down and millions to go! haha.

ps...there will be sleeves. it will def need some alteration

well as you all already know...Ryan is coming home. he has decide to leave the academy. i think this is a real good thing cuz that place does not make any sense sometimes. anywho, we are getting married sept 20th '08.

my two year plan for my wedding got cut down to 2 months in almost instant. i guess i can't really complain, i would rather get married now then wait 3 years...who does that?! haha ;) there is just so much going on i really love it!

i have talk to ryan about this and we are still getting beax. this would be our pet. i am so excited for this!!! he will be a well loved squirrl. i have read just about every thing about the southern flying squirrl!

Failed!

So I know that I talked about taking lots of pictures while Ryan was in town...well I FAILED! He did too, its not just me. We only took a few, its just not somthing that i was thinking about I guess.

We def had a lot of fun while he was here. One day I took him out and we went to the Botanical Garden and then went to lunch at AZ 88. it was a fantastic day. Oh I almost forgot, we went to test drive the CX7. Its a really good car.

I miss him already and its only been 2 days. Life kinda is lifeless with out him. :(

Post Lasik

ok so i thought i update now that i am pretty sure my eyes are not getting too much better then it already is.

so the procedure is so easy. i was totally freaking out on nothing! most of the time was preping and waiting. that was it. the actual thing was only like 10 min total.

well so far i can see. not very well but i can see so much better. everything is blury but i think that is my fault cuz i was freaking out so much when i had it done i prob moved. the doctor gave me 2 volumes instead of the normal which is 1.

right after i had to sleep. they gave me some PM stuff and i was out for like 14 hrs. i did wake up one time to go to the rest room. that was a fun experience, i walked into the wall. haha.

Lasik!!!!!

i am getting lasik today. this morning i was freaking out because i was reading the disclosure and it freaked me out! i could go blind! or i could have blurriness forever or stuff like that.

what if my procedure does not do well? what happends if i am blind? suck butt!

i had to pull my manager today and talk to him. he had prk at the same place. oh btw i am going to the nationwide lasik center. and he had to calm me down and make sure that everything will be ok. i even talked to Ryan and he had to google if anyone had a bad experience and stuff. i am being such a baby and i dont know why i am freaking out so much. oh well.

anywho. wish me luck you guys. this weekend i plan on playing my guitar with my eyes closed...i will be so good by the time i can see again! haha. yeah right.

Ryan is back from Global Engagement

at least that is what i thought GE stands for. well anywho, Ryan just got back yesterday and i got lots of pictures. so here are some pictures of him and him in his gas gear stuff.

last but not least he got a boo boo from one of the paint bullets i think. yeah their paint bullets are not like paint balls...yikes if i could find the picture i would post it but it will take too long. its massive for a lil paint thing.

so from this experience i am happy to hear that ryan does not enjoy this...thank goodness cuz i would hate to have him go out to where ever and get killed!!! i dont know what i would do!!!

No AC

so i have nothing to post about right now. nothing has really happend due to the fact that i can't really talk to Ryan cuz he is deployed right now to train and that my AC is not working.

i did get a new canvas so i can keep myself busy while Ryan is gone, but lord and behold my AC does not work and so its impossible to even stay in my room with out getting all aggrivated. i hate being hot when i dont have to be.

so there for i spent most of my weekend in my brothers room on the computer. the end.

verizon said that i could block a number, but i can only block one number at a time and i have to do it every 60 days. i say might as well just change my number. i guess i been wanting a new number anyways.

Graduation?

So Ryan was in the graduation today at the academy. from what i understood he sat with the seniors and it was freezing outside.

President Bush was there! Ryan was all excited bout that one. if you look in the picture President Bush is in black right on his left shoulder.
